These Terms & Conditions apply to all attendees, visitors, sponsors, exhibitors, and participants (“you”, “your”) of the Belfast Cyber Expo (“the Event”), operated by Leaf Consultancy Limited (“Leaf IT”, “we”, “us”, “our”).

By registering for, attending, or participating in the Event, you agree to comply with these Terms & Conditions.

2. Registration & Tickets

All event registrations and ticketing are processed through Eventbrite.

By registering, you agree to:

Provide accurate and complete information
Use tickets for their intended purpose only
Not transfer or resell tickets without prior written consent

Leaf IT reserves the right to refuse entry or cancel a registration if false or misleading information is supplied.

3. Event Changes or Cancellation

Leaf IT reserves the right to:

Make changes to the event agenda, speakers, venue, or timings
Substitute speakers where necessary
Postpone or cancel the event due to circumstances beyond our control

In the event of cancellation, ticket holders will be notified by email via Eventbrite.

Leaf IT is not liable for any travel, accommodation, or related costs incurred by attendees.

4. Health, Safety & Conduct

All attendees must:

Follow venue health and safety regulations
Behave professionally and respectfully toward staff, speakers, exhibitors, and other attendees
Avoid disruptive, unsafe, or inappropriate behaviour

Leaf IT reserves the right to remove any attendee who breaches these standards, without refund.

5. Photography, Video & Media

By attending the Event, you acknowledge that:

Photography and videography may take place
Your image or likeness may appear in promotional materials, social media, websites, or post-event communications

If you do not wish to appear in media, you must notify a member of staff on arrival at the Event.

6. Intellectual Property

All content presented at the Event (including presentations, materials, slides, branding, and recordings) remains the intellectual property of Leaf IT or the relevant speaker/partner.

You may not reproduce, distribute, or use Event content for commercial purposes without prior written permission.

7. Data Protection & Privacy

Your personal data is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

By registering, you acknowledge that your data may be processed for:

Event administration
Essential communication
Post-event follow-ups
Marketing communications (where consent has been given)

8. Liability Disclaimer

Leaf IT accepts no responsibility for:

Loss or damage to personal property
Personal injury unless caused by proven negligence
Losses incurred due to event changes or cancellation

Attendance is at your own risk.

9. Third-Party Services

The Event may involve third-party platforms, services, or partners (such as Eventbrite and Wix). Leaf IT is not responsible for the content or policies of third-party providers.

10. Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of Northern Ireland and subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Northern Ireland.
